DIG IT - A Digger Simulator

Hours after release of Dig it, I was playing it, when it comes to 'big boys toys' I'm normally first in line, knowing nothing at all about this game, and as it was on offer in steam ( for £12.74 )

So I had little expectations for this game, after being disapointed with the last version of Excavtor Simulator I was ready to be disapointed, but I was surprised, the game has full support for xbox 360 controllers, which means you can actually use 2 thumbsticks to control the excavator which works pretty well.

The controls can be a bit sticky ( shall we say ) but I am unsure if this is down to my controller or the actual game.

I have done around 5-6 game missions, in under an hour, so the long term gameplay is not looking to good, oh do i head you shouting at the screen saying theres a sandbox mode in the game, well you are correct there is, but its next to useless, as the plot of land the sand box gives you ( even the largest sandbox ) is tiny, even for the biggest machines in the game there is not much room to manover.

Some of the excators wont even pick up the dirt, in sandbox mode, I tried out the largest of these excavators and it point blanke refused to pick up any dirt, and on the rare time it did it might have been a small bucket full.....but not having tried the same machine on a mission it could be just down to the sandbox mode.

Well I hope you people have enjoyed the short video, it is not very long, But it should give you an idea what the game is like.

On the whole the game looks amazing and I would give it a score of 6.5/10

Well another day and another virtual truck trip, a nice tramp along the continent from France to Germany, Brno to be exact, I dont like France that much as there are way to many tolls, you get upto speed, stick the cruise control on, and next thing you got to slow down again, to pay another tolls

In our ongoing effort to enhance our World of Trucks service we have just launched World of Trucks Achievements.

Current achievements set is primarily related to already existing WoTR features. Please log in to your account and check them out! Its highly likely you’ll be able to get one or two with minimum effort right now.

At first it may sound like nothing too special is going on, World of Trucks is still only a place for game screenshots and not much more. However, for us it marks a day of very important service code base integration that is getting built exclusively for World of Trucks.
In case you haven’t registered yet, any genuine retail or digital key as well as registration via Steam link will work (but only once!).
