It is with a massive smile on my face that I write this announcement on our stream group page, my benifactor from our youtube channel has gone and done it again and has donated a game I have been looking forward to playing for a long time, Just Cause 3, so now the question is do I stream Project Cars as planned tonight, Just Cause 3 or Subnautica.
We planned on doing Project Cars tonight, as I was hoping there would be 3 players ( human drivers plus a load of AI ), but decided to hope that you guys/gals that support me, so thought yea ill ask these mad house crew

While the ETS2 team is preparing some cool stuff for you for early next week (as the upcoming update 1.20 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is nearing release, we'll have interesting things to divulge), the American Truck Simulator team still has a lot of work ahead of them to release their project. We are always getting asked to show more of the game, so let's make this blog post just such an opportunity...
Despite showing a public build of the game some two weeks ago at Gamescom called a "beta," American Truck Simulator is still very much in production and undergoing internal testing, no wider beta testing has been started yet. We have to ask our small inner circle of volunteer beta testers to still be patient with us. Fortunately, most things are already in place, and the team is busy with establishing the initial game economy network, polishing environment and vehicle assets, while considerable work is also invested into game optimization.

As in a previous post, we decided to try to raise some money for a Children's hospital here in the Uk, the staff at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, do a amazing job, and often will go above and beyond the duty of their jobs, they make sure, that not only do the children have the care they need, but also try to make sure their stay is as pleasant as possible, but do they stop there?...........in short no, they not only take care of the children, but will also help the parents too, this could be anything from just sitting with a cup of tea to talk to the parents, to keeping an eye on their child while the parent takes a much needed break, they can also provide accommodation for the parents to stay in during their child's stay.
We wanted to try to help in anyway we could, and we hoped to raise £300 for this amazing hospital, to help them give the care these amazing children/parents need.
Even though we fell well short of our target, we are still amazed at the amount of support we received from our regular followers on our twitch channel, we raised in total ( after paypal fees etc ) £43.67 ( see screen grab below of the payments received, names have been removed for security and replaced with their twitch account names that where used to make the payments )
During the stream, we received some startling comments by what is well known in the Twitch community as 'TROLLS', this was rather a upsetting time for us, to receive this type of comment on a charity stream was a little ( say we say ) annoying, but we managed to control our tempers ( only just ), but the main comment was that we would not give the money to the charity, but keep it for ourselves, but as we have said on numerous occasions, any and all money raised will always be given to the charity it is intended for, below is a screenshot of the payment receipt we received after the payment was sent to Great Ormond Street.
As you should be able to see, the entire amount ( down to the last penny ) was sent via paypal to the G.O.S.H paypal account.
Again thank you for those of you who donated their hard earned money to this amazing hospital, and also not forgetting those that sat and watched our stream for over 11 hours, and even waited for 20 mins while MADxMAX2k went to have a bite to eat and have a drink, you guys are amazing, and we can not thank you enough.. -- Watch live at http://www.twitch.tv/madxmax2k

This is my first ever flight and go at the amazing free to play game called War Thunder, I recorded a short game play video of me test flying a Pe-2-205 Peshka, no actual combat in this video, but recorded show Utube viewers just how graphically good this game is, and now there is a free update ( which I just learnt about ) which includes ground battles using tanks ( and that is also free ), so you get 2 games for the free price of 1 cant be bad

We are happy to announce the availability of Open Beta build of 1.18 Update for Euro Truck Simulator 2. You can find it in a "branch" on Steam. (Steam client -> LIBRARY -> right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 -> Properties -> Betas tab -> public beta - 1.18 public beta).
The main star of this game update will be the introduction of a new truck: Mercedes-Benz New Actros.
We are very excited about obtaining this truck manufacturer license, with Mercedes-Benz trucks becoming a part of the ETS2 universe, now all "Magnificent Seven" European truck manufacturers are finally in the game.
The 1.18 Update also brings several additional bug fixes based on reports since the release of 1.17 update and Scandinavia expansion:

Where does all the time go, I intended to stream this Weds for about an hour and a half, but ended up doing it for over three and a half hours.
My faith has been restored in the ETS2MP community, after I opened a console on the game all my controls got disabled, and I ended up going into the ditch, and I got stuck, but another driver came to the rescue (without being asked ), the player names was Maj Trans ( and can be clearly seen in this video dropping their trailer to come to my aid ), after they managed to help me get out, the themselfs got stuck, and I could not just drive off and leave them there, so I helped to rescue them, after we both got out, I said my thanks and continued on my journey. Oslo happens to be one of the largest urban agglomerations featured in Scandinavia DLC, in fact Oslo and the surrounding areas is possibly the largest city we have built so far in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
As you can see in the screenshots below, we are using new types of junctions and intersections extensively in Scandinavia, in this particular case to connect the city to the large port that incorporates a ferry terminal.
Oslo itself is filled with several smaller loading docks in different districts of the city located a couple of kilometers away from each other. There are so many opportunities for exploration!
