ETSMP Report Road Blocked By SaNeY__ (762)

Well another installment of the idiots on the multiplayer mod for euro truck simulator 2, I record every trip from now on, so far tonight ( while playing ) i have been rammed 3 times, and had this motorway blocked ( I can not understand why they do it, or how they can be parked up like this for so long if my truck is idle for more than about 5mins, i lose connection with the game for being idle, this SaNeY__ person was parked here for a lot longer than that, I did the usual thing F7 to go to the nearest town, which then put be back in the same place when I tried to continue on my journey to the UK, I got stuck behind this idiot, along with another 20+ players, in the end we all had to do a 360 and drive down the wrong side of the motorway and back up the other side and then drive on the wrong side until we came to the next junction ( I apologize to anybody seeing me do this but was left with little choice )

Being Rammed By Lans178rus

This is the 2nd time I have been rammed in Rotterdam, MrNT rammed me head on ( he was going on the wrong side of the road towards the Europort ), but I did not record that at the time, I had to F7 to a local upgrade shop to repair my truck ( cost me €167 thousand euro's ), I repaired my truck and shrugged it off, picked up my next load headed to Italy, had a funny feeling it was going to happen again, so decided to record the trip to catch anybody doing it, Lans178rus was parked at the side of the motorway on the hard should, I passed him with the limiter on doing 90kmph, he pulled off ( without the limiter on ), and caught up with me, then rammed me on purpose which can be clearly seen in the video

 
 After checking the footage a lot I have come to the conclusion that the 2nd truck was a part of a tag team, they also have a very very similar names 2nd driver called oNe178rus first driver called Lans178rus

Lans178rus deliberatly rammed me off the road ( from the left side ), oNe178rus was speeding up behind me to catch up, now I am unsure if he would have hit me anyway if my truck had missed him, as I originally said I will leave you make up your own minds about the 2nd truck, but I am a little more than miffed as why they do this, it ruins the game for everybody else, and themselfs, not to mention if they get their steam accounts banned from the mp wouldnt they have to rebuy the game to do it again, as you can only use a cd key once for a account or am I missing some thing.

This post is not ment to put other multi-player players off it is for information only so you can watch out for these players and others like them, this has only happened to me a total of 3 times ( twice within mins of each other )

We have invited Martijn and Nico from the ProMods team to our office a while ago, as we felt we should recognize their work and congratulate them in person to what they have achieved with their incredible mod. Flip Paints Designs DLC + Competition

Today we would like to announce the release of a new set of paint designs. It is expanding on our previous experiments with new truck paint effects we had offered as a free DLC for all World of Trucks users. (In case you haven't grabbed it yet, you can always find your activation key on your personal World of Trucks page!)

Flip Paint Designs DLC contains 11 customizable truck paint designs. Here are only a few examples of the wealth of customization possibilities:

COMPETITION

The rules this time are pretty simple and no modding skills are necessary to participate. We hope more of you would be glad to join in.

1. Using the choice of 19 designs: previous Metallic Paint Jobs DLC (which is free for World of Trucks users) and the just revealed Flip Paints Designs DLC, you are required to create an interesting looking color variant and present your chosen truck as best as you can. All paint jobs are customizable within the game so immediately after getting the DLCs, you are ready to shoot some photos!
2. Upload your creation(s) from the game to World of Trucks.
3. Then send us a link to your image detail. Like this: https://worldoftrucks.com/en/image_detail.php?id=000000000000040E 
4. Email to send your best shots at: flippaintdesigns[at]scssoft.com (use @ instead of [at]). Please DO NOT ATTACH THE SCREENSHOTS - sending just links to World of Trucks gallery images is the right way to let us know about your creation.

P.S. In case you are an advanced modder and able to create your own design to show off the new Flip Paint, we sure would welcome such creations as well. 

What we will be rating:

- Interesting color variation of the designs

- Having great composition of your truck will surely enhance the impression. Having truck shot on an interesting location or setting sure will give you additional notice points. Use it to your advantage.

Rewards:

- Editor's Pick. We will be picking and posting the best images at World of Trucks Editor's Pick section as soon as they'll start arriving.

- Fame: being there would allow others fellow truckers to admire your creations

- You will get an achievement! Every lucky player who managed to get into Editor's Pick gets an Achievement (yes, here is a little announcement right there!)  We do plan to enable achievements eventually and being in Editor's Picks is going to be one of the hardest of them. So this competition is a good opportunity to raise the chances to get spotted. :)
- 5 best creations will get a Steam key for the Collector's Edition of Euro Truck Simulator 2: This key unlocks not just ETS2, but also several additional DLCs and older games published by SCS Software. It would make a great present to a friend you want to introduce to truck simulators!

Multiplayer Poll

With the release of the Alpha version of the Euro Truck Simulator 2 multi-player mod, I thought it might be a good idea to post a poll to see how many members of the tsgmods forums would like to see a new category just for the multi-player part of the game, if the poll results state that this is a good idea then it would be used for members who use the multiplayer mod to post there locations/destinations for other members to join a convoy, just to meet up, so if you think this is a good idea then click on this link and go and register your vote
