Uk Haulage Trailer Skin Pack Coming Soon

Well I have been doing a lot practice to the art of making skins for Euro Truck Simulator 2's trailers, and considering I have never ever done this before, I have completed four UK trucking companies trailers, they are not perfect, but look ok for a beginner.

This is the picture that will be released with the skin pack, so members of the TGSM forums will be able to download, so they can see the trailers before they actually commit to the download, the files are already in place to be shared with members, but until I check and double check the trailers to see if there are any problems, mis-prints, and mistakes I won't release it

Also a quick update on the forums, so far we have nearly 500 members, and growing on a daily basis, the mods section I think is One of the best on the internet for Euro Truck Simulator 2, currently we have over 260 mods, just for ETS2.

I will update the forums, and the blog when the release of the MADxMAX UK skin pack is released, so check back daily for updates on the skin pack and other projects.

I also take requests for trailer skins, if you contact me via the private message system on the TSGM forums, and of course supply pictures of the trailer you would like to be able to use in your version of ETS2

A small update

Well as I am soooooo busy lately it has been hard to find the time to continue to post on the blog, aswell as the forums.


But I have been playing about with the truck models in Euro Truck Simulator 2, and managed to remove the globetraveller  and added a John Raymond transport Logo instead ( to go along with the trailer I released )

Finally

Well I have been a big fan of SCS and their trucking game for years, and have always wanted to try my hand at skinning a trailer and maybe a truck, well I am please to say that I have managed to make a start on the trailer skin, the skin is a very simple version of John Raymond Transport from Bridgend South Wales.

I have included a couple of photo's of their trailer logo so you can compare it to my version.

Below is my version of the trailer from the above pictures

I don't think it came out to bad considering I have only attempted this kind of thing once before, my first attempt was ok but decided it was not good enough to release, the trailer above is my second attempt as different companys logo and is available on the TSGM forums along with loads more that are ready for download. Please note the above trailer was in the beta stage when the screen shots was taken, there is a final version on the forums ready for downloading.

I have also started to play about with the truck, so far I have only tried with the Volvo as I wanted to remove the globe traveller logo from above the windscreen, and replace it with the JRT logo, I have included a few screenshots below of this, this version is not ready for release as I want to tweak the logo, and add more JRT information onto the side of the trucks cab

As far as the forums is going, we are growing bigger on a daily basis, we now have over 410 members, with more joining on a daily basis, so pop over and join up and check out the Euro Truck Simulator 2 mod section for the latest and greatest mods that are released.

PS: Sorry there have not been many posts on the blog for the last few days, what with work, a busy family life, and other commitments it has been hard to find the time to keep you posted, I will try to add more content to the blog to keep you informed of the best mods and how the forums is growing

Competition Update

Well I am very much surprised to find that there are not many people wanting to join in the competition that the TSGM forums is running to win a digital copy of Euro Truck Simulator 2.

As this is the first of five ( 5 ) competitions that the TSGM forums to win a copy of Euro Truck Simulator 2, I had hoped it would have been a success, but alas.

I have mentioned that we was hoping to get a guest judge to check the pictures for the competition and for them to pick the winners, well I can now officially announce that Michal Tureček from SCS software will be judging the screenshot competition, ( so you might need to rethink that idea that was rattling around your brain as he is working for the company that actually makes the games).

Please remember that any member of the forums can enter, and you can post any screenshot from any of the SCS trucking simulator games, but please remember to convert them to .jpg format and upload them to a free image hosting site such as image shack etc ( it can be any image hosting site, and please no hotlinking from another site, this is in breach of the TOS for the competition )

Also I have seen a comment on the blog stating that the forums is rubbish that there is not actually any mods on there for ETS2, but I am affraid that this person is wrong in every sence of the word, we currently have over 150 mods for ETS2

*WIN* ETS2 Digital Download Code Competition

Well as the name suggests, and the blog/post posts about our Euro Truck Simulator 2 Competition, is now open.

Thank you to Pavel CEO of SCS donating codes to unlock the full version of the game.

Competition Details 


The first competition we are running is a very simple idea, any member can enter ( but no TSGM Staff ), all the member entering the competition has to do, is submit a screenshot from any of the SCS trucking games, the best entry wins, members can submit a maximum of 3 screenshots ( only .jpg format screenshots will be accepted ), and only enter the once ( multipul entries will be removed and the member involved will be excluded from the competition ).

All screenshots entered into the competition [color=Red][u]have[/u][/color] to be uploaded to a free image hosting site ( IE Imageshack ).

If you are going to submit a screenshot of a modified truck/trailer you have to have created it yourself, if you did not create it yourself the entry will be removed from the competition.

All entries have to be in this thread ( to make it easier for the judge to locate them ).

Your screenshot does not have to be of a modified truck or trailer, it can be more or less anything, from a crash, to a nice view, a funny scene ( you get the idea right? ).

All entries have to be in by the 05/12/2012.

The winner will be announced by the 10/12/2012, and once informed must provide a working email address for the code to be emailed to them.
