SCS the game's company that created the Euro Truck Simulator franchise are celebrating their Euro Truck Simulator 2 sales, as it seems that they sold over 2000 digital copies in 15 hours, so this goes to show how much their hard work means to their loyal gaming fans, myself included, but I bet alot of people are now thinking that they are taking a break from all the work they have had to complete to get the game ready for the release date.
But you might be wrong about them, it seems that they are working just as much as before, maybe a little bit more, as Pavel has released information on the SCS blog hinting about the work SCS want to continued to improve ETS2, now has not released this information about what the work is, but it could be, makng the map extended, extra trucks or trailers, addons for the trucks, it seems that this "wish list" could go on for ever.
Fingers crossed that their hardwork as paid off and not they can reap the rewords
Good Luck SCS

Newcastle-Upon-Tyne To Felixstowe
With Euro Truck Simulator 2 due out tomorrow, this will be my last beta game play video, but I will continue to update my blog and my forums on the latest news regarding this amazing game, of course the information I can release will only be what SCS state I can, so keep checking both the sites, as One of them might contain different information to the other.
This is my second 1080p ETS2 since my new monitor, which I have to say has made a hell of a difference compared to my old 17inch Dell, but the HP is also widescreen which makes it seem far larger than my old monitor, and I love it and I had it very very very very cheap.
Now Back on track with the information for this video, it is a short journey from Newcastle Upon Tyne To Felixstowe.
Trip Information
Truck Used MAN TGX 680bhp 12 speed automatic gearbox
chassis confiuration - 6x2-4
This time I decided to stick within the UK for a change, instead going across the channel, it was starting to feel strange to drive a truck in game that is actually right hand drive and drive on the left ( got me confused a few times )
Please be aware that there may be slight inperfections in this video, as video editing is not my strong point, but I am hopefully doing enough to scrape by without embarassing myself to much. I hope you enjoy the video, I know I enjoyed recording it, and after alot of private messages asking for a video showing the Scania being customised I finally gave in.

19Inch Dell HP w1907v widescreen Monitor

Please remember that the game is still in the early beta stages and you might see or hear problems in this video, the beta testers are finding as many problems with the game as they can, and the dedicated SCS team are working very long hours trying to fix them.

Latest Video
Well Euro Truck Simulator is nearly here, and because the release date is so close now, I thought I would release One last video, this video is recorded using my favorite truck the amazing MAN TGX.
I am hoping to be able to get it onto the forums and the blog tomorrow, but it might not happen, as I do not know what time I will get home.
Anyway here are a couple of screenshots taken from Euro Truck Simulator 2
I can not put into words about how good Euro Truck Simulator really is, the screenshots and video's show a tiny bit of the Euro Truck Simulator 2 world, but it does not show how realistic the game can actually be, it's little tiny things, like the AI traffic flashing their headlights to allow the player to pull out of a junction, the road works, weather, trucks and trailers, all add upto what I think is the world's best trucking simulator for the home computer, and SCS have really but the work into game.

Yet Another Truck Simulator Blog
Deciding what I want to record for my next video, I thought I would take the time to mention another blog, JoelAwesume's
blog, is about the wonderful world of virtual trucking, he is also
training to be a real trucker, and has posted quite a few video's on his
blog playing Scania Truck Driving Simulator, aswell as video's of him
having to do certain tasks while completing his training to be a trucker.
JoelAwesume is also a member of my forum staff, and seems very dedicated, so if you have any questions head over to the trucking simulation games/mods forums and sign up and send him a private message.
You can head over to JoelAwesume's blog by following the link located here!!
As people that visit my forums, and blog on a regular basis are mad about trucks/trucking as I am, I thought it might be an idea to share his latest video of gameplay from Scania Truck Driver.
I will try my best to figure out what route and truck I will feature in the latest video that I will record tomorrow and fingers crossed be able to upload and share it some time tomorrow afternoon or evening.
