Well Euro Truck Simulator is nearly here, and because the release date is so close now, I thought I would release One last video, this video is recorded using my favorite truck the amazing MAN TGX.
I am hoping to be able to get it onto the forums and the blog tomorrow, but it might not happen, as I do not know what time I will get home.
I can not put into words about how good Euro Truck Simulator really is, the screenshots and video's show a tiny bit of the Euro Truck Simulator 2 world, but it does not show how realistic the game can actually be, it's little tiny things, like the AI traffic flashing their headlights to allow the player to pull out of a junction, the road works, weather, trucks and trailers, all add upto what I think is the world's best trucking simulator for the home computer, and SCS have really but the work into game.
Game footage recorded from the beta version of Euro Truck Simulator 2, which is due out on the 19th Oct 2012
A short video, using a Valiant FH16 truck
This is also my first 1080p video of game footage, I have now got a new 19inch widescreen HP monitor, which supports resolutions upto 1920x1080 ( so please enjoy the extra bit of quality ).
Delivery - Apples
From Frankfurt
To Stuttgart
Game Mileage 144miles
Game Time 3hrs 49mins
Actual Time 18Mins ( approx )
Game footage showing a traffic jam right at the start ( right outside the yard I picked up the trailer from ), and bad weather conditions, using a 750hp Valiant truck with a 12 speed auto gearbox.
Please be aware that there may be slight inperfections in this video, as video editing is not my strong point, but I am hopefully doing enough to scrape by without embarassing myself to much. I hope you enjoy the video, I know I enjoyed recording it, and after alot of private messages asking for a video showing the Scania being customised I finally gave in.

Deciding what I want to record for my next video, I thought I would take the time to mention another blog, JoelAwesume's
blog, is about the wonderful world of virtual trucking, he is also
training to be a real trucker, and has posted quite a few video's on his
blog playing Scania Truck Driving Simulator, aswell as video's of him
having to do certain tasks while completing his training to be a trucker.
JoelAwesume is also a member of my forum staff, and seems very dedicated, so if you have any questions head over to the trucking simulation games/mods forums and sign up and send him a private message.

As people that visit my forums, and blog on a regular basis are mad about trucks/trucking as I am, I thought it might be an idea to share his latest video of gameplay from Scania Truck Driver.
I will try my best to figure out what route and truck I will feature in the latest video that I will record tomorrow and fingers crossed be able to upload and share it some time tomorrow afternoon or evening.
Well I am true to my word, the new video is uploaded onto Utube, but please remember that a 12 year old was playing the game at the time of it being recorded and there might be some faults with his driving as after all he is only 12.
My 12 year old son playing Euro Truck Simulator 2, regulars to my blog and forums may have read about this video on there, and the fact that he did not stop asking me to play the game, so I allowed him a small trip to keep him happy
Trip Information
Truck Used - Scania R730 12speed auto Left Hand Drive
Cargo - Suger
Starting Points Stasbourg
Destination - Reims
Game time - 3hrs 52mins
Actual Time - 20mins ( approx )
Distance - 193miles
Please remember that a 12 year old was playing the game at the time of recording, and if there are any mistakes it is because of his age.
Please be aware that there may be slight inperfections in this video, as video editing is not my strong point, but I am hopefully doing enough to scrape by without embarassing myself to much. I hope you enjoy the video, I know I enjoyed recording it.

A man can only take so much right?......well my 12 year old son seems to know this better than most, and has constantly been asking can he play Euro Truck Simulator 2, I tried to explain to him that I need the time left to find and report problems and as the games map is so big that it takes alot of time to cover as much of it as I can ( this is my excuse and I am sticking to it ok!! ), I don't think he believed me and kept on, so in the end ( anything for a quiet life ) I gave in and allowed him a short trip which I should have ready for the fans of the game tomorrow.
Do I hear you ask which route I allowed my son to drive the truck, well it was from Strasbourg To Reims, which is about 170 game miles, about 20mins give or take, which seemed to keep him happy.
While I was adding this post to my blog, I thought I would add a extra couple of screenshots to keep your Euro Truck Simulator 2 hunger at bay for at least until the video is ready.
Screenshot above is of a Majestic truck, which has been upgraded, screenshot's below is action shots taken from another load I completed while I recorded it as I might even upload yet another video.
I have also added a few more screenshots to the forums the link for this is here for anybody wishing to view them, there are a total of 24 screenshots in forums thread
