Well it seems like a good while since I completed my last Euro Truck Simulator 2 video project, but it is only been a couple of days, a very busy family/working life makes the time seem to fly away, either that or I am just getting to old to notice.
Well back to it, after the popularity of my last video of a Scania R730 being upgraded and repainted, and a sick feeling that I had messed up the video by the way I had edited it and some parts being repeated.
The lastest creation of M@x studios is about a Daf ( or I should say in the game it is called a Dav ), I had about 15-20 private messages on Utube asking for more upgrade videos and in particular the Dav Truck.
After a lot of thinking I again decided to add a couple of screenshots onto the blog so the many fans that visit here everyday can have a sneek peek before I release the video.
As you may notice that the custom paint job in the truck is the same as on the Scania I done on the last video, I did it again like this for a simple reason, I like it, hope you do too, but I think if you don't there will be comments posted stating this.
I hope the screenshots show how good this model of the real life version is, the detail on some parts of it are amazing.
Another screenshot taken from the game, this time showing a slight difference in the configuration of the addons onto the truck.
Hopefully fingers crossed I should have the new video uploaded to Utube soon, and hopefully I won't make many if any mistakes this time, but I am tried and it's very late.
I'll keep you updated as normal and post the video as soon as I can get the time to edit/compress and upload.
A small apology for some of the mistakes in this video, I was working on it for best part of 8 or 9 hours, the file size was huge, at well over 50gb before being edited and compressed, and I thought I had finally finished working on it at 3am, so decided to allow it to upload while I slept, as I had to get up early this morning ( not enough hours in the day it seems ), it was only after I received comments/private messages on Utube that I was aware of the problem, I do hope it does not spoil the effect I was going for or decrease anybody enjoyment.
Please also stop sending me private messages on Utube asking for a download link for ETS2, I have had the same message from the same people for each and every video I have uploaded some multipul times for the same video, I am not authorised to give out any files or serial keys for this game, if you think you have what it takes to be a beta tester please please contact SCS as they are the only people that can and will allow anybody who does not already have access to this wonderful game.
A video showing a Scania R730 being customised, repainted, upgraded, and then driven on a short trip, please excuse any and all glitches in this video, the driving was done by my 12 year old truck son, so please give him the respect he deserves for his mostly good driving skills at such a young age

Please be aware that there may be slight inperfections in this video, as video editing is not my strong point, but I am hopefully doing enough to scrape by without embarassing myself to much. I hope you enjoy the video, I know I enjoyed recording it, and after alot of private messages asking for a video showing the Scania being customised I finally gave in.

With the release due very soon of SCS's Euro Truck Simulator 2, due out in the next few weeks, I thought I would give my fellow blog members some thing to remind us of the old original version of this great game by adding a couple of screenshots from mods created by fans of the games
Below is Radars version of the Volvo with the Eddie Stobart livery, very nice skin, lets hope there is another version of this great looking truck for the newer version of the game...fingers crossed.
A very nice looking Scania for heavy haul created by Italian job, what
with Twelve wheels, I bet this bad boy could pull almost anything.
Third for today is another Volvo this time by Lonestranger and Ols
Please note, none of the files needed for any of these mods are on this blog, I do not take credit for any of the work taken to create them, I just added the pictures, and credits to the original creators and skinners etc.
A few pictures of some of the trailer mods that are availble aswell as the truck mods
EU Trailer pack by Joske
Lonestranger's Esso Tanker
Hope you like the few pictures I have added, it might remind you of the original Euro Truck Simulator
After playing the latest version of the Euro Truck Simulator last night, and after reading comments on a Utube video I had uploaded the other day, where I customised a MAN TGX, people where asking me for a video showing me customising a Scania, so last night I spend a good few hours, and into the early morning, recording a video of me doing exactly what I was asked, below is a screenshot taken from the customise screens in the game.
I could not add the custom paint, and windscreen name plates as you can not do these in the truck dealers in the game, only from a garage, so I included a small bit of footage of my driving to the garage to add these to the video ( it is only a couple of seconds )
A few screenshots fron different angles of the finished Scania R730, with the customised name plates and paint.
It is going to take me a long time to edit, compress the Scania video so I will be able to upload/share it on Utube/here.
I think this might keep you happy for a couple of hours while I start work on my latest creation.
