Riding the American Dream

Los Angeles and San Francisco are huge cities in the American Truck Simulator map. We haven't tried to portray sprawling agglomerations of this type in our games until now, though there was a bit of a hint of it in 18 Wheels of Steel Long Haul. Our ambition is higher now, as we want to capture the feeling of driving in an actual US city, which is quite different from typical European locations.

This trend isn't only ATS bound, but you'll get much higher city-feel authenticity in new world expansions coming to Euro Truck Simulator 2.

flight Simulator Test Flight

Just a quick test flight to test how good Flight Simulator X is, and I got to say im impressed this is my first ever go, I used a Logitech Attack 3 joystick to control the chopper, I might not have landed very good, but at least I did not crash for my first test flight. The next test flight will be in daylight, so I can actually see where I am flying, I just happend to leave it on the settings to use the real time for the time of day I was testing it.

As usual all comments are welcome, good or bad, but remember I have never flown a helicopter in a simulator like this before.

Mercedes-Benz New Actros work in progress

The readers of our blog have long suspected that another vehicle we surely must be building is the 2012 New Actros truck tractor. It has taken us a lot of time and effort to obtain the necessary license; to finally complete the "Big Seven" European truck manufacturers licenses.

At long last, we are happy to show you that we are doing some solid work on the truck! In fact we are now working hard to speed up production of the 3D model, with one senior 3D designer assigned to the task of creation of the exterior of the vehicle, while another 3D guru is working on the dashboard and interior.
