A Few Screenshots

Well it's that time of day again, where I update the blog and the forums, this time I have opted for screenshots instead of a video......I can hear you screaming at your monitors why?.........well it's simple, I am looking out for a delivery in the game, that I might consider recording, this seems a very easy decision you think, well it is not that straight forward as you might think, there are in excess of 27 pages of deliverys available for the entire map, with on average 7 loads per page, now you might have the idea?.

Anyway back to the matter at hand, I love this game, it is not only beautiful to look at it is very realistic, more so on the night time driving, this is my favorite time to play, with all the addon lights on full beam if really lights up the game world, unlike previous simulator games where the auxiliary lights on the mods where only for show, this time they actually work and improve visibility immensely, and as the picture below shows ( a picture is worth a thousand words ) that they also shine a side light when the headlights are switched on.

The screenshot below shows the same truck as the screenshot above, but this time with the main beam on, including the auxiliary light on the roof and front of the tractor unit ( truck ) cab.

Screenshot below shows the same truck with the main beam on but this time from inside the trucks cab, the truck in these featured screenshots is my favorite in the game the MAN TGX.

Now some screenshots of a trucker's nightmare, traffic jams, truckers it seems spend half their time stuck in them, and there is not really a lot you can do to avoid them, because being in a truck which is restricted to certain small roads, there is no option to go around alot of the problems that a normal car driver can avoid, because some of these roads a truck would never be able to fit down safely.

And no the truck in this pictures is not pink, it looks pinks, but is in fact a custom paint job, but the brake lights on the AI traffic in front of me shine onto the trucks paint and make it resemble a light shade of pink.

Well I think this is enough of a update for now, and will fingers crossed satisfy your hunger for more news and pictures of this long awaited sequel of Euro Truck Simulator.

I will keep you updated on the next video and truck that will feature in my next video in the next day or so, until then enjoy the screenshots above.

Ivedo & Valiant Upgrades

A short video showing the upgrade process of two truck this time, the Ivedo  ( from my last video ) and a Valiant.

It's about 8 or so mins long, short but sweet as they say, but there is no footage of driving these trucks in this video, only the procress used to upgrade, tyres, lights etc, not even the custome paints, or the driver/co-driver name plates are featured in this video.

I'd like to also apologise to all the German fans that have been trying to watch my last video, but are unable to, because of the included music, I did not actually add the music, but showed the radio player that is built into the game, which was of EKR Rock Radio, and it is this that stops them being able to view it, I do not understand why it seems only the germans are affected, but this seems to be the case.

Well I hope you enjoy this short video, and of course this will also be added to the forums as it seems not all the visitors that are regular to the blog also visit the forums and visa versa

Headlights On The Trucks

I keep getting asked on my Utube channel, via comments and private messages, do the extra addon truck lights actually work, and do they make the road ahead appear brighter.

So I thought I would take a couple of screenshots showing the difference between having the extra lights on and when they are off, and you can clearly see that they make not only a small difference but it is a massive difference.

The screenshot below, shows the Valiant FH16 with the normal standard mainbeam on.

Now the screenshot below is taken from the same place, with the same exact truck, but with the extra addon lights switched on, so when you press the button for the main beam or to flash your headlights they come on, can you see the difference between the two?.

And the third screensot is actually two combined together of the above screenshots to make it easier to compare the two when view in full screen mode

Below is a external view of the truck used to show the difference between the lights.

I hope that this answers some of the questions that the fans on Utube keep asking me.
