Another New Truck For ETS2

I am spoiling myself in Euro Truck Simulator 2 with yet another truck, this time it is the Iveco, a very nice looking example of a virtual truck, I know I keep saying this, but it is true, SCS have done outstanding work on the models of each and every truck in the game

I bet I know what your thinking, this trucks addon's match the others I have done nearly in every detail, well I can not deny it, I like this configuration, and actually play using this in the game, but with a different paint scheme.

The view from inside the cab is very clear, even with my small 17inch monitor, I can see most things out of the left mirrors ( you might have guessed it is a right hand drive truck )

I have just finished recording a video with this truck, and I should be able to edit, compress and upload it some time tomorrow, the video also contains a short part where I customise it, but not the paint this time, only the lights etc.

I had to stop the truck and take a little screenshot of this nice view, and I actually drove the truck down there, but i'm affraid I did not include this in the video I recorded.

I will be adding more pictures of this wonderful truck to the forums some time tomorrow, if I find the time that is, fingers crossed.

Our New Forums

Well I had a spare 10mins or so before having to go to work, so I decided to use this time the best way I could, by starting the Trucking Simulator Games/Mods forums which you can join by clicking here we are currently looking for members and of course staff members to join and help out the site, the more people we have who join the better, if you feel you have what it takes to be a member of our forums staff then please, join the forums, and send me a message, stating why you think you would be a suitable member of the TSGM staff.

I created the forum, for a simple enough reason, the blog is brilliant and all, but I think we need more, the blog is receiving around 200+ hits per day which is great and thank you.

With the forums, I will in time, be adding more catagories, and sub-catagories for all the trucking simulator games that are currently out, and those due for release, including catagories for screenshots, movies, and the trucking game modders to show off their own work for private use or public release.

At the moment there is not much on the forums, as I have not got the time to keep working on it, but decided to put a quick post on the blog to inform people that it is up and running, and there is also only "one" post currently on there.

Hopefully I will see you all on the forums, soon, and I will also continue to add content to the blog aswell as the forums.

A few ScreenShots

Well I bought a new truck in the game, a Mercedes-Benz Actros, with a few added upgrades to play about with as you do.

I might make a video of me driving this bad boy, but if I do it wont be until the weekend, as I am very busy until then, sorry about that.

love this truck, in real life, and I think SCS have made an incredible job of implementing it into the game, just wish the mirrors where bigger or even better I have a bigger screen to play it on, as my 17inch monitor is a little small for playing this type of game, when you look to your left mirror it can be hard to see any other traffic is there, I know I can have the on screen hud mirrors on but I don't like them and makes me feel like i'm cheating.

I am hoping that these few screenshots will keep you happy until I can create another video for Euro Truck Simulator 2, which fingers crossed should be the weekend

ETS2 Beta Daphne Amsterdam To Manchester

Well I am back again for aother installment of my Euro Truck Simulator 2 gameplay video's, this time is the Daf trucks turn to be upgraded, but I have used most of what I put on the Scania in a previous video, because I wanted to keep a few things away from the public eye, even though you may see them on the accessories list they look different on the trucks.

Trip Information

Starting Point/Delivery Destination - Amsterdam To Manchester
Trip Distance - 193miles
Game Time - 16hours 20mins
Actual Time - 25mins ( approx )

Please be aware that there may be slight inperfections in this video, as video editing is not my strong point, but I am hopefully doing enough to scrape by without embarassing myself to much. I hope you enjoy the video, I know I enjoyed recording it, and after alot of private messages asking for a video showing the Scania being customised I finally gave in.

Computer Specs This Was Recorded On,

Foxconn G31 Motherboard
Q6600 2.4Quad CPU
3Gb DDR2 @800Mhz
MSI N550GTX-Ti 1Gb GDDR5 Graphics Card
500Gb Sata II Harddrive
17Inch Dell LCD Monitor
Offical Xbox 360 Force feed Back Steering Wheel & Pedals

Please remember that the game is still in the early beta stages and you might see or hear problems in this video, the beta testers are finding as many problems with the game as they can, and the dedicated SCS team are working very long hours trying to fix them.

Another Video I am Recording

Well it seems like a good while since I completed my last Euro Truck Simulator 2 video project, but it is only been a couple of days, a very busy family/working life makes the time seem to fly away, either that or I am just getting to old to notice.

Well back to it, after the popularity of my last video of a Scania R730 being upgraded and repainted, and a sick feeling that I had messed up the video by the way I had edited it and some parts being repeated.

The lastest creation of M@x studios is about a Daf  ( or I should say in the game it is called a Dav ), I had about 15-20 private messages on Utube asking for more upgrade videos and in particular the Dav Truck.

After a lot of thinking I again decided to add a couple of screenshots onto the blog so the many fans that visit here everyday can have a sneek peek before I release the video.

As you may notice that the custom paint job in the truck is the same as on the Scania I done on the last video, I did it again like this for a simple reason, I like it, hope you do too, but I think if you don't there will be comments posted stating this.

I hope the screenshots show how good this model of the real life version is, the detail on some parts of it are amazing.

Another screenshot taken from the game, this time showing a slight difference in the configuration of the addons onto the truck.

Hopefully fingers crossed I should have the new video uploaded to Utube soon, and hopefully I won't make many if any mistakes this time, but I am tried and it's very late.

I'll keep you updated as normal and post the video as soon as I can get the time to edit/compress and upload.
